well i think it's pretty obvious the whole style of this picture was inspired by fallout ([link] ); it's ramza from FFT, a really awesome game that i actually like leveling up in. the battle system is like no other. the storyline is pretty easy to get lost in but if you really pay attention you'll see it's rather very depressing.. like this scene that i drew, it was the part where (spoiler) ramza had to kill his brother zalbag (/spoiler) ;0;ramza - final fantasy tactics

Wow... this is sad man... perfect depiction of this scene.
the lighting gives the impression of Zalbaag's body imploding and fading. Powerful. Looking at his expression you can hear in your head him screaming "ZALBAAAAAAAG!!" at the top of his lungs in agony.

I remember that part of the game... It was very depressing; and this image is quite close to how I thought Ramza was feeling at the time.

This game is the only game that perpetually gets me depressed, and at the same time, amazes me at its quality. Sure, I got a little misty eyed at the end of FFX, and sure, the end of MGS3 actually got me to shed some tears. But this... this is just saaaad.
Beautiful picture. For the amount of crap that was happening to Ramza, he did not cry enough!

That part of the game almost made me cry. u___u
Specially when Zalbag was speaking to Ramza, saying that he couldn't see or feel anything and that he had no idea what he was doing. It made me really sad for some reason.
Then again, Tactics is a pretty depressing game once you think about it (although I also think it was probably the best in the Final Fantasy Series..it needs more love! 
A wonderful piece, I like the red and the expression on Ramza's face.

Oh man, this is simply amazing. I loved that game. That was a great scene too. Sadly, my game got erased before I ever beat it and I haven't taken the time to go back to it. Maybe I will soon.

Really like the expression on Ramza's face. Great game that I have bad luck with (1st copy stolen; was ripped on an eBay auction for the second one - before the GH release; and my PS2 has trouble playing my current copy).

I finished Final Fantasy Tactics last week so Ramza is very fresh in my mind. To me your pic doesn't remind me of Ramza but please don't feel sorrow or offended. The quality and the glancing style of it appeals very much to me. I like your Deviaton for a 100%. Just don't call it ramza beoulve - FFT
