hm! my tumblr queue for some reason decided to post two horses today so to make it fair minty is also getting posted here today i guess lol
one of the first Elements of Harmony, being the first wielder of Laughter. Her elemental artifact being that of a Clover given to her by her childhood friend.
Growing up in the era where there was much separation and fighting between the different pony races Minty was of few Pegasus to be born and raised on the ground. nearly all pegasus of her time lived solely in the clouds looking down on unicorns and earth ponies.
Minty was born to a Pegasus who left their home out of sorrow seeing how violent hey had become, and a earth pony who fell for the sweet angel.
Minty at a young age had met and befriended the pony now known as Clover the clever, at the time just Clover the unicorn. Clover was the daughter of an important Unicorn diplomat that was staying in a Unicorn town close to were Minty lived.
the two would meet in secret in a field of clovers and play their afternoons. Minty would be the first to refer to Clover as 'Clover the Clever' a title Clover would hold onto into her adult years.
It wasnt long before both their parents found where the fillies had been sneaking off to and got in a horrible fight. Both Minty and Clover would come to the violence realization of how their world worked, that minty had been living a happy life in an accepting town, but this wasnt how everywhere worked.
Minty would brave on into her adulthood making sure to not let the world put her down. When old enough she would begin traveling and speaking her heart where she could to try and bring ponies together, even when she was face by threats and violent words.
she found a best friend in Butterscotch in her travels and the two worked together for many years to bring a better future to Equestria however they could.
Minty wouldn't see Clover until she would begin training under Starswirl the Bearded.
