Pinkie, Gilda and Svengallop;
Pinkie Pie was discovered by Svengallop after all his clients had left him for having an unlikable attitude. Visiting family in Cantorlot he would attend his Nephew's birthday where the silly pink pony was performing there for kids. While she was singing silly songs and making cute balloon animal's he saw that he could make her a star. Everyone rolled their eyes because no matter what amazing talent he grabbed he always lost it by being confrontational and generally dislikeable.
To everyone suprise, Pinkie said yes to letting him become her manager. More surprising is that she stayed with him and let him make her a big pop star. But the biggest surprise was that the next time Svengallop came around to visit family he was almost what you could call nicer. He was still grumpy and a bit sharp with others but he was less controlling and cruel, and he almost melted all the way when his little star Pinkie was around. Pinkie really took the phrase "i can make him better" and ran with it. She really did make him better and the two worked together great.

On their travels to bring her talent to Equestria, they would stop in Griffonstone where Pinkie Pie would meet Gilda. A loud and rude griffon working for hire to help set up her concert stage. Pinkie clearly already had a thing for big grump with Svengallop by her side, and Gilda was right there for the pickings.
Pinkie Pie bothered and bother Gilda constantly until she considered it less and less of a bother and more of something to look forward to.
Gilda would be sad to see Pinkie leave town, but the two often visit one another as Gilda being a recurring hire for their on the road team.
