xD lol My relationship with DC is a love-hate one. Sometimes I have no idea where they are even going with their plot lines/character deaths/character revivals. Honestly, DC....tsk tsk.

Same here..this is why I love characters, not companies.
Just this morning I was reading an editorial by Dennis O`Neal (back when he was in charge) explaining that they wanted to experiment killing a Robin, but he QUICKLY added not Richard Grayson, because he was a fan favourite!
Then I remembered that Didio originally wanted to kill Richard (not Kon) BECAUSE he was a fan favourite....O_O
Shock value =/= plot value.
If they want comics to be the modern folk tales they aspire towards, then they should not be borrowing ideas from soap operas, no offense...>.>

Totally not offended, in fact, I agree. I say Amen to that. This would be why I choose characters that I like and not necessarily writers or stories. It all comes together from there. I think the only real plus for what the company has done is that with the insane amount of possibilities (because DC will do ANYTHING they want because they can) combined with the animated universe, spin offs, etc, you can pretty much just invent your own canon when you realize you don't know (or can't accept) what's going on anymore. >>

When Kon died i almost threw my comic down. I telled "nooo they need to be together!!" But Robin is trying to create him again. I dont think it will work out. -_-
