Description
This is the oldest wooden church in Europe, an amazing architecture gem that still stands at 200m from the famous Putna Monastery in Romania. I say that " still stands" because efforts are being made to keep this superb structure from degrading .The good thing about this place is that is very well hidden from tourists and so making it a very pleasant and quiet place to find if you dare to adventure into the Putna graveyard . The bad thing is that it looks like the orthodox church leaders have left it forgotten in that graveyard with no protection, nobody there to watch over it and I fell kinda' sad that a beautiful structure like this slowly slides into oblivion.
