'In our lives, our hearts are often broken. Each cut is deeper than the last, and each takes longer to heal. We become hard. Unwilling to let others in. But some of us, the lucky one's of us, get the chance to meet someone who without us even knowing, stitch those wounds, and help us heal. They let us know that its safe to love again and that no wound is too deep or wide, because with true love, nothing is impossible'The 'Heart Shaped Box' is made out of Aromatic Ceder, and is about 4"x4". It's designed to contain a single ring, to give to the one that you love. Each one is hand carved, entirely unique and stitched together with leather.

This is a wonderful piece, i would have never thought to use stitching in a solid medium. i am curious as to what the inside of the box looks like, can you see the stitching on the inside or is it lined?

It's.. something so unique, something so very nice. Something only a true artist, could make. And may I say, It's made with love!
A box in a shape of a heart, is actually so, awesome and creative. Because, if a heart was a box, you could open it, and close it, whenever you'd want. You could fill it with love, whenever you'd want, and not to fall in love and then , when it'd be broken, you could, simply close it, and It'd be fine! , So , really really nice work! oh wow, this is amazing too (I kind of have always just been a fanatic for boxes anyway) but the quality and concept of this is ace! Also, the concept reminded me of the words from a really great friend a few months back - someone very trusted and close to me hurt me more than I knew possible and I hope no one ever has to go through that pain - but this piece is just striking in concept and design.
