Stunning. Absolutely stunning. I have seen few photographs that have instilled a feeling of otherworldliness in me better than this one. The flowers, the stillness, the gorgeous weirdness of her hair and clothing, the instrument itself (love, love, love!!), and the isolation of it--I'm blown away. This is a supurb work of art. Ever heard of Jorane, Canadian cello player? I immediately thought of her when I saw this picture. I also thought of novel character Dina (from Dina's Book by HerbjΓΆrg Wassmo, you might have seen the film, I Am Dina), and all that Dina stands for for me. You have achieved very much with this picture, because you managed to wake so many emotions in me.

You always have the most deliciously eerie isolated photos. I would actually like to see this one squared off maybe just above the trees; I'm not sure the negative space sky helps this piece. Well done!
