To me, the flash is a tad strong. Maybe try putting it into manual mode and adjusting the power till you get the brightness you want. In this close quarters, its just a bit too bright for me. Or you could use some sort of card/diffuser to diffuse the light from the flash? I know the on camera flash is limited, but just try playing around.

After all the comments complaining about the overexposure, I decided to use more the viewfinder photometer and it can come really handful when in shade or interiors. Thanks for the tip anyways, I have to work A LOT on my lighting techniques.

You can't help but love that camera, good to see you're enjoying it!
The photo is lovely and her expression is nice, however her skin is overexposed in some areas. I suggest a higher shutter time
