This is a response to DubleDz's most recent attack on me and my work.

First off, let me just apologize for BadDogg and other members of the community for how this has turned out. I never intended for this conversation to be dragged on so much, I merely meant to show people that the idea behind this picture was not originally the requester's idea, but my own. The characters may be his, that I do not dispute. However, the arrangement of colors, animals, and elements was the basic idea of my original team. A team he attempted to suggest additional rangers for, later using those suggestions, based on my original ideas, as his own ranger team. That is what I wanted people to be ware of, and provided evidence as such in my original comment.

You posted some sketches on RB a while ago of your rangers. That's what I was referring to. Furthermore, I want to understand your logic in this comment because it makes very little sense to me as parts of it seem to apply to yourself just as much, if not more so than, me. I'll break this down for you.

I'm selfish. Yes, to an extent. But from your actions of using my core idea as your own, you have been just as selfish due to your lack of consideration of my ideas and feelings.

I'm self-centered. Sure, I'll agree. I am preoccupied with my own matters, which extends to me being concerned with how my original ideas are represented.

I'm lifeless. Can't agree on the pure definition of the word. I am alive, not dead, quite clearly. If I was dead, you'd likely never be confronted with taking my core original idea.

I'm idiotic. I'd have to argue that point as I am somewhat intelligent and have the pure common sense to recognize when something is wrong, say for example, somebody using my original idea of a ranger team.

Getting of my high horse. The only way in which I have ever acted 'above' you is that I asserted you have been using my original idea as a base for 'yours', therefore, yours came after and is derived form my own. I do not believe I have ever been condescending towards you as a person, or disrespected you straight out. If anything, you have been disrespectful in using my original idea as a basis for your own.

Do something with my life/for myself. I am, thank you very much. I am currently finishing up my second-to-last semester at a university and have been engaging in other personal activities that I don't care to share. As you and other public DA users can see, I have been spending my time creating other pixel rangers and riders to share with people. All public DA users can see from you is that you have spent six months on this website, created a single deviation that just features text over pictures you could easily find on the internet, and have requested multiple works from multiple people. Therefore, it is you who should be doing something with your time, other than requesting numerous pieces of art. Create some of your own to share here on DA, contribute to the community of fans of tokusatsu shows rather than relying on them for art.

I always criticize people. No, I do not criticize other people on a personal level other than labeling them as possible thieves. Any disputes that have occurred over on RB have been a result of me giving critiques on publicly displayed artwork, that in turn, has been overreacted to. Critiques are part of art in general, and it is just as important to learn slightly negative opinions as it is positive praise. Yet again though, you are describing your own public persona in the last day here. You have now criticized me as a human being multiple times, something I have not done towards you other than to point out you stole my original idea. I do not believe anywhere, in any of my comments within the last day, that I have labelled you as any of the words you used to describe me.

Have I seen my cowboy theme? The sarcastic answer: No, I only created it. Of course I've seen my cowboy-inspired theme. I created them, I designed them. Quite obviously, I have seen them. I have also seen DynamicSavior's cowboy theme. Other than both designs featuring a cowboy hat-inspired helmet and a similar inspiration for chest symbols, your argument has no basis. Both of us created a cowboy theme for rangers, our final designs are quite different if you would actually take the time to actually look at them. Nothing looks stolen whatsoever.

I admitted to commenting on this picture to alert people of the original idea being my own, not yours. I did not intend to start drama, nor have I ever. As I said in this comment before, I have only gone into threads of RB to share my work and give opinions and critiques on others. BadDogg did not know the background of the request you had given him, so I shared that information.

Get over myself and do something worth doing have already been addressed by previous points.

You don't have time for this anymore. Obviously, you do. You claimed earlier to be done, but yet have returned. I get it, you need to defend yourself. But defending yourself should never mean you have to resort to be disrespectful or insulting to an opponent.

And you were calling me a thief, that was disrespectful so i had to stand my ground. What you are failing to realize is I wanted to see my suggestions drawn. You didnt want them so why no let someone else try? The first time on RB i said i was going to credit you but for some reason you just dont think thats enough. Yes its your theme, thats like my 9th time saying it. You came up with it.You are starting drama. there is a thing called notes but no, you wanted to make a scene. So thats that. Calling you a thief was an accurate observation. You stole my base idea, something you have admitted to, making you a thief. There's no arguing that. Standing your ground is perfectly fine, but not in the manner you've been doing it. You've been acting extremely childish and have been making very little sense in your arguments, when all you had to do was: a)ignore my informing BadDogg of the original idea being mine; or b) own up to it without contesting. You did neither. You felt the need to combat me at every step when there was really no reason to. All I intended to do, all that I did do, was inform BadDogg and by extension, those who see this piece, that the idea is not wholly yours. Drama was never the intention. You took that upon yourself.

I realize you want to see your rangers visualized, I truly do. But as I have now told you, I am disappointed to see that you returned to using my original idea as a template for your team. I had seen you post on RB a revision of the rangers in a manner that they no longer resembled my idea in any way. That was fine, I was happy to see that. But then seeing this theft of my original idea show up again with your mark on it, that was disappointing. Once you move forward, as I thought you had, there's no reason to go back.

I have accepted that you were able to admit the idea is not wholly yours. What I see as the root of the problem is that you did not inform BadDogg of the idea not being completely yours, that you used another person's idea as a template. So, yet again, you appear to be representing yourself as the sole creator of a work. If you had simply told him in your original request that the idea was not completely yours, that you did, in fact, steal the original idea from another person, and give credit where it was due (originally), it would have been fine. I am not crying over spilled milk, I accept what you have done, I am just simply disappointed that you had to revert to using my rangers as the basis for your own, and that you did not give the proper credit for the idea where it is due. Again.


Once again, my apologies to BadDogg and his followers. I simply feel the need to show you all that this idea was not entirely the requester's own. I am sorry for taking up time conversing here, and I believe that by now, my point and intentions are clear to you.

And it was an awesome idea no doubt about it. I am no thief, if i was a thief I would have told him to make the same rangers you did. I would have said this is my original idea. That's a thief. I never intended on causing all this mess. But you come along and make matters worse. You are causing a scene and you are the one acting like a child. And I asked Baddogg to draw these before I asked DS so that's that. So, when all this is said and done, what's that going to accomplish? I said it wasnt my idea but you continue to come back at me. I never said it was my idea to begin with. But hey, that's taiko for you. Ive heard stories about you sir, and they werent good. I know how you always want everything to go your way, I know how you want to be seen by the public. I know that many people really hate you.

I don't know if he got the idea from you or not, but tons on Sentai characters are based on animals or elements. As for posting them on Rangerboard and claiming them as his own, that would be disappointing but I rarely go there anymore so I doubt I'd ever find out.

Hey, first i would like to say I did credit you. I would never not credit someone for there work. And i posted the picture on rangerboard but forgot to put your name on it, but i soon edited it after i found out i forgot to do it. And he says i stole his idea. He asked people for suggestions and i guess i didnt do the way he wanted so didnt take them. So, he made this whole deal about it so I just used my own ideas. I dont think thats wrong. Yes, taiko was the one who came up with it but i made the characters. He didnt want them so i just used them. Why let good characters go to waste? I do credit him for that. And he's acting like there arent other sentai with animals and elements. We have different designs, plots, and everything. That was the FIRST time i forgot to give credit, i just posted the picture to let everyone see. and he cant talk about rip-off of ranger ideas.
So yea. I dont get on rangerboard either because I was banned by a rule that wasnt even written until i said something about it. I go on this other site which i posted your picture you drew for me, [link]

You only gave credit after being called out by another member. Whether you forgot or not, you still posted somebody else's work without crediting them, and even perhaps, their permission.

You very well know you did not follow a few suggestions I had laid out for my original team. You very well would not have had the very same ideas if you had not read my work first. You saw my ideas, my outlines for the specific ranger teams, and thought you were going to be a great contributor. Wrong. Further, your only real idea was to give them god-like identities. Every part of the ranger designations falls directly into my outlines for the actual, original idea.

And yes, I can talk about ripping off other artists ranger ideas because that is exactly what you have done. You have admitted to stealing my ideas and now seem to want to go back on your word. Own up. Further, there is a difference between fan art and stealing. What I draw and create is considered fan art of an existing series. This extends to multiple fan artists out there of all mediums, even BadDogg here himself, who creates images based on previous sentai teams. This is not theft, this is fan art. What you do is request rangers, never put forth anything of value, and steal my ideas. As I said in a previous response, when you decided to alter your rangers (because, face it, you stole my basic ideas of elemental/animal/coloring teams) that was fine. At that point, your idea no longer had any traces of my storyline or creation and I was fine with that. However, you have now requested a separate image featuring the same original thefts from my idea.

I make mistakes like everybody else, I just don't try to cover it up like you have.

I've gotten plenty of suggestions for the original idea actually. it's not at the full 25 yet, but I'm plenty happy with the turn out. I think there are only four or five spots still open.

All I want is to see you admitting you've stolen my idea. And as it seems you have, good. Now people know that you have to see another idea to have your own, you can't create things purely from your own imagination. I don't like it any more than I have before, but at least you have admitted it. The characters may be yours, but at the core, the ranger designations and pairings are my original ideas.

No, I haven't seen any of your other request. Post some actual artwork other than those small quick sketches then come talk.

Keep trying to argue against the originality of my idea. You have been, and always will be, wrong. It's original. I have already responded you about the similarities of Gransazer, but my idea is not a direct copy of the core idea of Gransazer, unlike yours of mine.

You have no point. You've been frantically trying to move off the topic of you stealing my ideas ever since I first called you out on it over on RB. That's all you're trying to do. Further, the only things in my gallery that are not my ideas are those that are requested (something you're obviously very familiar with) or based on pre-existing series, aka fan art. Everything within the original sentai and kamen rider folders are my true and original ideas. To the best of my knowledge nothing within those folders directly copies, steals, or infringes upon another fan artist's ideas, unlike what you have done.

As I have said, getting you to admit to your theft publicly on here was the point of me posting on BadDogg's work. You have done so, people can see they should be weary of their original ideas with you lurking around, so I'm done here.

Trust me, he did. As you can see from the links I provided, he took my idea and warped it into his own, calling the suggestions he had made for my team 'gods'. I told him those suggestions were not good for my team, so he decided to take them and use them for his own team, using the exact color, element, and animal pairings I had done. He has not changed a thing about the rangers you have now created since he first suggested them for my team. This is my idea, through and through, and he has been told as much by multiple people on RB including myself. He should not have asked for you to make these.
Further, he has posted your work before on RB as his own and was subsequently called out on that. I believe it's only because he would be caught again that he hasn't done so yet with this team that is a stolen idea from me.

so i said i drew it? That's a lie. This is exactly what i said "This is called Bruin(bear) Mastery. It's about two friends who came from the Wild Force Era. The first one is the Black Bruin Ranger. His animal is the Grizzly bear and his weapon of choice is the Grizzly Bear Cannon. The second one is the White Bruin Ranger. His animal is the Polar Bear and his weapon of choice is the Polar Bear Shot Gun.

You just used a different color but you used there design and everything. How is that any different from what I did? You just made your own version of something just like i did. That is not what you said originally. The last part with the proper crediting was added only after you were called out by another member as not being the original artist of the work, nearly an entire day after originally posting the work. You didn't give BadDogg credit, you got caught, and then tried to cover your mistake.

You did take my ideas. You have admitted to such on Rangerboard. As I have said before: yes, there are elemental and animal themes in sentai. That is undisputed. However, what made my team unique is the grouping of certain and specific types of animals to a certain color range and specific colors into individual teams. Something you have outright stolen for your "idea". I thought you had learned that in earnest, because I remember you amending your rangers in a request thread so as not to have their theme a carbon copy as mine. That I was fine with, as you admitted to stealing my original idea and changed it. But now you have regressed to being an intellectual thief.
As for GokaiCrimson, that is fan art like many other things artists like myself do. You should however, look again, his design is drastically different from the standard Gokiager's suits.
As for your suggestions for my team and idea, you've been told why I didn't want them. It seemed like you didn't read a single thing beyond 'suggestions' and then just went wild. Because you didn't read a few simple instructions, this whole mess started.

It's just like your "original idea". each group consist of a specific color to go with a specific element.

By not crediting the original artist, as you did when you first posted, it appeared you were trying to pass of the work as your own.

The design does not look like mine at all, there's no disputing that. BadDogg has a very unique and intricate hand drawn style. That I have never disputed. I just wanted to bring to his attention that the core idea behind the work was my doing, not yours.

Despite your argument of me not being original, you are still wrong. What you claim I have ripped off is just as different as any two sentai/toku idea concerning elements/colors/animals. You are most likely thinking of Gransazer, a series that does feature different tribes with specific designations for elements and colors. However, Gransazer has four teams of three members each, and as such does not have the element of lightning, the color green, or reptiles featured in the series. Gransazer is also linked with the Western zodiac and its signs, something that is reflected in their designs. That series is also less strict about what type of animals get paired with what color or element. For example, Gransazer features a bull and lion on the same yellow earth tribe; and a dolphin allowed on the water tribe. The ideas are similar yes, but different in many aspects just as any other elemental/color/animal pairing has been before in tokusatsu shows.

As I said though, at least you have admitted to stealing my core ideas behind the team. Hopefully this brings your nature to the attention of other people so they can see what you are.

I just wanted to see it for myself.But no, mr. taiko wants everyone to know he did it. he always wants attention. to be honest i didnt want to show this request off because as I said already i wanted to see how they would look. I never told him it was my original idea. I just asked him to draw it which he did an amazing job. I thank him for that. Just get over yourself.
