Well...it's embarressing to admit renΓ©, but when I scanned the negative I had it in the scanner backwards. So the tattoo SHOULD read: Bonita (or Bonito)
I thought of flipping it but I like the way it looks this way.

this one might be one of my top five faves of your work. hard to come up with the right words to describe why.
all the obvious reasons a'course.
lighting, textured backdrop, hues, the model.
who by the way..i never say this kinda thing but...he's really captivating. something in his face and hair.
anywho..i really love that he's contorted somewhat. like how the neck isn't sticking out to make it long and lean. instead he's got an interesting form about his entire body that's just a little different from what we're normally used to seeing in a picture like this. eh..and who cares if it's flipped or not. the presence of the guy is a billion times stronger than trying to read the tatt. which actually i didn't even try to do in the first place.
the form in his arms is stellar. i think it's the fact that he's looking down. i like him facing the left better than the intended way of to the right. i also enjoy the crop at the bottom. normally cropping arms throws me out of a picture entirely..but it suits this image well.
