I just slaved over this one for about the last 5-6 hours. It came out pretty well, only I don't know what I was thinking with having a complicated deck of cards like that in the picture, drawing that with a stubby Charcoal pencil was torture, and after 6 hours I didn't really care about getting it perfect anymore. Hopefully it doesn't detract from the hands too much, especially when the cards are supposed to be the focal point...Related content

Whoa. Nice work. Getting good at that whole "shading" thing. I like the deep blacks the most, I think, like inside all the wrinkles. Good stuff.

It's funny because I'm actually on the same time schedule that I was when I was in Florida. What was go to bed at 3am and get up at 11am, is now go to bed at 12am and get up at 8am. I was just set to the wrong coast.

I like sleep. If I don't get 7-8 hours, I fall alseep everywhere else, including subways, bus's, class, etc.

Actually, just realized that there is no shadow over the cards from the thumb. But it's already midnight and I have class early tomorrow, so I'll fix it and repost it later.
