done with markers, then adjusted colours and added text in PSP8text says:
Light: I can’t handle being Kira.
Ryuk: WHY NOT?
Light: L is closing down on me way more than I thought he would…
Ryuk: I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU COULD HANDLE IT...
Light: So did I. But I ended up having to kill my own mother, father and sister.
Ryuk: YOU SAID YOU WERE PREPARED FOR THAT THOUGH.. Light: Ryuk, Humans say a lot of things that they don’t mean.
Ryuk: OH. . .
Light: I said no one could get me, but they can, I said no one would suspect me but they do.
Ryuk: SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO THEN?
Light: Think.
Ryuk: HMM?
Light:GAAH!! I CAN’T COPE WITH THESE MEMORIES ANY LONGER!!! I WANT EVERYTHING BACK TO NORMAL!!! Ryuk, change it all back! ...PLEASE!
Ryuk: I’M SORRY; I CAN’T
Light: … please… Ryuk…
Ryuk: SORRY LIGHT. ...DOES THIS MEAN THAT L WINS? …

Love the image over the text, it adds an extra amount of gravity to both the meaning of the words and the meaning of the image. I guess I'm trying to say that I love this picture
I like how (in my mind, at least) Light's last line can be interpreted as Light's last spoken words, or they could be words expressed only through the action of hanging himself, and not actually spoken aloud. Or both, you know, spoken and then the action itself is a resounding period at the end.
I'll post this comment on the other version (which I just found). I do prefer the black though for some reason. I think it suit the mood of the piece better.
