Description
In Traveller, most Imperial Marines are trained in the Cutlass skill, for use in the close in assault work of ship boarding combat. Protected by their Battledress power armor, they should find it pretty easy to close with opponents, as they are immune to most small arms and the antitank weaponry needed to penetrate their armour would tend to do just as much damage to the firer and the ship they are defending. To see what a cutlass armed Marine might look like, I modified one of Brian Gibson's excellent drawings, replacing the energy cannon with a Cutlass and Buckler. I think this looks more intimidating!
