I took a few pictures of my guinea pigs today and this was my favourite shot!They always fight over food.
Taffi and Rawzi (the dark one) are both doing well. Since they don't get along well together I keep them in seperate cages beside each other. Taffi is 5.5 years old and Rawzi is 1.5 years.
I love my piggers!!!

Both are males?
I guess they don't go along because you didn't introduce them properly. My two babies are males and they took a liking to each other, since I made presentations right :3

Unfortunately I lost my beloved Taffi in April 2010.. He was almost 7 years old and decided to slip away.
You are quite right about not introducing them properly. Rawzi was about 4-5 months old when I got him and started introducing him to Taffi. He was just getting into the whole adolescence stage and was very hyper around Taffi. Also, Taffi was always the dominant male which didn't help with the situation. Even when Rawzi's hormones calmed down, Taffi just didn't like having Rawzi beside him (Taffi was the one to start the fight/start chattering teeth). Yeah.. not a great experience.
On a brighter note, I decided to add a little baby boar to our household in the middle of June. Little Bobbi will be 3 months soon and both boys are getting along great! I hope Bobbi will be a good boy at 6 months!
I still miss Taffi though..

Shiroi (roan Abby) is 10 months and Ryori (Peruvian red-and white coat)is "just" 5 and a half months, yet it's Ryori trying to hump his big brother... Shiroi is like "I'M NOT A FEMALE AND YOU ARE TOO YOUNG TO BE EXPLORING MY REAR!!!"
They didn't even fight once since (they only had a short encounter two days after they met, and Ryori gained a chomp in his earlob for sticking his nose in Shiroi's privates...)
Shiroi came from neglect and a rowdy environment, yet he's the sweetest thing on Earth, besides I got him introduced to a herd of females beforehand so he was anxious to have a furry friend. I got Ryori after a baby cavy I got (from another mistreatment) passed away due to a vet's mishandling. He was scarred as well, (almost eaten by a bunch of savages) with eyesores and was a real fighter, after the mandatory quarantine he fought toe and nail (and paw and tooth and whatnot) with me not to put him around Shiroi. I used neutral ground and haygrass to lure them (Shiroi was nervous and Ryori frantic) so suddendly my big boy came to sniffle the baby one prudently so as not to get a paw in his eye!
Ryori was then a month and a half old, with Shiroi twice as huge as himself he seemed to sober and then... sniffle back. I had a good time watching them chase each other over the rug!
Both have quieted since, got used to each other ('xcept from the ardent desire from Ryori, ahem). And they have a good temporary home.
Congrats on little Bobby! I've seen the pic, he's adorable!!
I'm sorry little Taffi died, they are so special, they all have their personalities, so we never forget the piggies that have passed away, nor replace them. And then, there are so many of them in refuges and SPA... If I had a stable job, I would gladly welcome guinea pigs in it. I simply love them too much!

Bobbi never stops mounting on Rawzi. I think it's a young male thing.

I bet they got into yaoi by accident - they ran loose on a pile of old manga in a friend's house, it just happened to be Gravitation
Anyway it's awkward, we had a family coming home for dinner and they were like "OMG, the little male is trying to make love to the big female down there D:" (Poor Shiroi looks like a female to almost everybody!!)and I was like "What female?! THEY ARE BOTH MALES!1111"
For the rest of the dinner, I got back a whole set of "

Aww, how cute...my family's dogs go toe-to-toe with rawhide bones. Basically, one dog shows little or no interest in the bone till the other one is chewing on it.

Haha, awesome picture. I used to have a couple guinea pigs back in the day and my brother and I would always do this with them, betting on which one would end up with the bigger piece of whatever they were fighting over.
