jsyk not the open species I've been mulling over.
working on getting the face and ears more solid & no real info for you guys yet lore/biology wise butttt

Have a homeworld that is not earth. IDk if they interact with humans just yet but it kind of depends what I end up doing with them
They have four arms! The top set are for brute force and they have been known to walk on all fours with them (the other two tucked against their chest for protection). The bottom set are more delicate and are used for anything requiring dexterity and control. The top set have a somewhat thick pad covering the entire palm.
They, along with having markings, have membranes/layered skin that cover surface area usually across their chests and legs.
markings and colors vary from natural to us humans to extremely unnatural... but that might match up with their home, so maybe it's natural to them.
there are some... extreme mutations. there are also minor ones like long hair or size differences, alongside regular regional variations.
Some regions routinely lop their tails. There are other traditions depending on family and area, some may split their ears and others may adorn themselves with jewelery and piercings as they come of age.
what is gender

any suggestions, questions or species name suggestions would be v/ appreciated!! I want to draw up some environment and mutations next.
