Special relationship between Winona, Fortree's gym leader

History:
After her flop in the PCBC2 tournament, Erika has spent her time training with others in the challenger ring.
Since then, she has returned home to Fortree to spend time with her family and new little brother Edward. She has been teaching other's in Fortree about the grace and beauty of brid pokemon.

Pokemon:
Nodin- Natu (male)
Ability: Synchronize

Nodin was Erika's first pokemon and the pair have gone from strength to strength. Named after her Grandfather, who was an acceptional Bird Trainer, Nodin has shown Erika is the only trainer for him.
Thanks to his ability, Nodin has synched his feelings with Erika, making her know exactly how he feels, which can become concerning when Nodin begins to struggle in combat.
As a small psychic pokemon, Nodin constantly feels he needs to outdo his other team-mates, pushing him to over-exert himself - and Erika. This can give him a cold and distant personality to others, especially Gelu (Froslass)
However when delighted, Nodin can be the happiest pokemon around.

Flamma- Combusken (female)
Ability: Blaze

Erika's first captured pokemon. Caught as a Torchick, Flamma has always proven her worth in combat becoming a deadly fighter.
Though evolving slower than her best friend Popo, Flamma see's him as an older brother and is always wanting to prove herself to him, showing she's no weak chick.
She's also seen as a big sister to Cherish and Nodin (even though he wouldn't want to admit it) constantly watching where they wander and play.

Cherish- Cherrim (female)
Ability: flower gift
Moves:

Not so much of a capture, Cherish came to Erika after she was found injured in her overcast form. After Erika had treated the poor Cherrim and left it in the care of a Nurse Joy, she soon discovered a new friend as the newly revived Cherrim followed Erika wherever she went, accepting her as her trainer.
Cherish has a happy and wonderfully girlish personality, spending most of her time in her Sunlight form, though will revert back to Overcast if upset or weak.
Cherish likes to play. A lot! and is often spent being chased by Flamma and Popo.

Popo- Empoleon (male)
Ability: Torrent

One of Erika's most proudest pokemon, Popo has grown quickly and strongly. Raised from a Piplup and caught around the same time as Torchick, Popo evolved quickly becoming one of Erika's strongest allies.
Popo is dominant and proud, but also has a wonderful sense of humour. He enjoys watching his team mates play and always likes to get involved, which can turn rough when carried away.
He sees Flamma as a little sister and always makes sure she's never getting into trouble, which can infuriate her as she's always trying to prove herself. Popo also tries his best with Nodin, but finds his elite behaviour all the more frustrating. Popo believes Nodin maybe jelous because he's no longer the only bird and no longer Erika's only favourite, which can lead the pair to disagree.

Gelu- Froslass (female)
Ability: Snow Cloak

Possibly Erika's most unusual capture, Gelu came to Erika when she was once trapped in a freak snow storm outside of Mossdeep City. Back when she was a Snorunt, Gelu saved Erika and Nodin by controlling the storm itself and guided them to saftey. Days later, the Snorunt was being apprehended by a mysterious bunch of thugs and almost taken away, until Erika stepped in. The Snorunt has been with Erika ever since and even allowed her to use a Dawn Stone to evolve her into a Froslass.
Gelu is very serene and often keeps to herself, but in battle she is a real team player. However, there has been some friction between herself and Nodin. Gelu is very fond of Erika and always wants to do her best for her trainer, which is making Nodin feel threatened. However, Gelu knows this and always knows when to back off.

Cyan- Altaria (female)
Ability: Natural Cue

-Perish Song
Cyan was given to Erika from her Mother, Edna.
Since giving birth to Edward, her mother felt Cyan needed to get out more and so passed her onto Erika, knowing they would work well together.
