Description
After I shrunk my original submission down to fit people's screens better I found that the shrunken images had lost some of their crispness and charm. This is my attempt to correct that. I put the other image in my scraps area. I'd be interested to know which one you prefer.Related content

Thank you. I've been using Photoshop to restore some of the clarity that was lost when I shrank the pictures down for viewing on the Internet.

Yes the orchids I capture on film are truly a difficult subject. At all times I fear for my safety and my life. Have you ever seen a stampede of wild orchids? It is a fearsome sight indeed.

Probably the difficulty factor isn't sufficient to keep a photographer of your calibre engaged. Try tying a stout string to your big toe and use it to dangle yourself upsidedown in front of a flower. Then take the shot with your left hand and blindfolded.
