Hello everyone! Today is September 10th! It’s my birthday!
For those who don’t know, every year on my birthday I tend to draw some nice picture of some kind to celebrate. And this year I finally did something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time.

This drawing is a redraw of my first ever digital artwork that was full color with a full background! It's based on the Super Mario 64 mission of the same name. The original piece was 4 years ago so this is the product of everything I've learned since 2014!
I hate to toot my own horn but I am EXTREMELY proud of the redraw. I think every little piece in it is better than the original. I still remember the terrible process of hand drawing the original on paper, scanning it, and painstakingly coloring it on microsoft paint with a mouse.
This year I turn 20 and while I still have a long way to go I’m definitely better and in a much better place than I was when I was 16. Since the original piece I’ve graduated highschool, moved away from my father, and even managed to come out as a transwoman. And in a way I like to think all these good things are conveyed in how I do my art now. It’s happier and all around just nicer to look at.
I know I say cheesy stuff like this every year but I do really mean it every time I say it. I’m so thankful to everyone who supports me and sticks by me. Whether you’ve watched my art progress since 2014 or you only discovered me after all my accounts accidentally got deleted. I hope you all enjoy the content I make and hopefully continue to make as much as I love putting it together.
