Description
These are my rainbow characters, as the title suggests. This took me DAYS, like, I’m not even kidding it took me over a week to finish. It’s done on a large paper and my medium was pencil (erased) ink (for the lines) marker and watercolor. This is a redraw of an old concept, I made the og in fifth grade, it was really boring tho, the characters were just standing in a line in front of stripes of each of their colors as if they were posing for a photo. I made another one in sixth grade that was more interesting, I drew them as a big family chaotically fighting each other, the chaos was fun but the composition was hard to read. In this one I tried to give it a bit more personality and I also arranged them in the color wheel positions if I have that right. (I didn’t have a color wheel reference.) I plan to work on designing these characters properly later, the outfits and hair and faces were spontaneous decisions and I’m not sure I like all of them. (I also realized too late that orange had no orange in her outfit, I did have time to make her shoes orange tho.)

btw I am open to constructive criticism, although most of what people say I’ve probably already said or though myself, especially if it has to do with my color choices or the choppy rainbow. I do weep at some of my decisions because I have spent too long drawing it/looking at it.
