Well if you absolutely want to do that I suggest going to Photoshop or gimp "whatever you have I personally use gimp" and using the smudge tool to get rid of the redness and maybe smooth some areas of the face. Possibly widen the eyes a little, a bit of a smile too and if you want an example to see what it might look like here's a piece of my art with her modelΒ . Just saying I don't mean to be rude about any of this just giving you some tips.

well i tried to pose her eyeballs already in xps. but she looked like she would be cross eyed (if thats the right word) XD
i also use gimp but i suck so much at it XD
i just make quick bad pictures XD
