Gosh, however-many pages of comments, and not one person guessed the mystery sauce! Though I've heard that slightly diluted honey with a little red food dye makes good fake blood - and it probably tastes a little better then what you've used here.
Now for the actual picture: I really like the idea behind this! (though it did make me wince slightly when I first saw it - tis quite macabre, hur.) I like the way that the subjet of the photo is in the top left corner, as opposed to being right in the middle - Having an area that is relatively quiet and empty really emphasises what you're portraying. Nice job. (:
