An entry for 's contest featuring her character Kazimier . I think anyone who watched before Kuroshitsuji would immediately recognized Sebastian's signature move of placing a hand upon the heart in this picture. I thought this move is befitting of Kazimier too considering that he is in the position of a royal servant.Initially, I really wanted to do a colored picture like all the other entries, but alas, long periods of not touching my tablet or drawing decent figures has had its toll. >: The painted version did not proceed well (it was quite a disaster lol) , so I turned to plan B and transformed the original sketch into a lineart. I just hope that my lineart can come up on par with some of the colored entries. =]
Aside from that, something still seems to be missing from this picture, as if I haven't complete it, but I can't quite grasp what it is though. Anyone got any suggestions? :3

One thing that always strikes me about your art is how many details you put into it!
Espescially on your backgrounds that at the same time work as frames.
I like how you made his face, the many different folds on the cloth, and all the vegetation so very realistic!

Yes'm, because I just realize that I would have no scanner shortly too once I go back @__@ So I need to quicken my pace a little bit and finish the drawing now before I leave tomorrow...And now my lower back is sore from sitting so long at the desk *ahem* That is, I actually spent more time sitting down and "searching for inspiration" by watching the whole season of Kuroshitsuji II and squeeing over Ciel than sitting calmly down to draw. (That was the real source of the back pain lool) *averts eyes and whistles innocently*
