I'm drawing too much family recently. (not that that's a bad thing) I want to draw more fan art. Anyone have any suggestions to a anime, manga or whatnot?

welp, *cracks knuckles* anime-wise, i'm hearing a lot about 'panty and stocking' by gainax, but i haven't seen any of it. but its not as girly as it sounds (quite the opposite, really).
and i'm not too sure if this is overly girly or not, but one of my favorite obscure animes was akazukin chacha. its a children's anime, but i grew up with it and definitely had an impact on my art style and personality.
manga, wise, i'm not sure what i can recommend, since i've been reading alot of old series, such as akira, and doubt!!. btu if you haven't i would suggest tekkon kinkreet as a short, but very good read.
