actually yeah, this is one i am looking at building a background for, but it's never been my forte, i have only learned to draw fairly recently actually, but i am hoping to repost this one including some water! and the other vaporeon i drew too.

well i should admit, ive been scribbling animish things for 15 years, but only recently learning techniques (6 mnths) before that it looked like a five yr old drew my stuf hahhaha

well ive only been able to draw people for the last...year or so? befor that they looked like 5 yr old drew it (and was ashamed ) animals I could draw but people! NOOOo so I know what you mean
I am jellos actuly I still have trouble drawing Chibi pics

hhahah an ashamed 5 year old, i love it XD *sigh* i really wanna draw them true to original, but alas, although i am proud that i didn't copy someone elses chibi styling, itook a bit from everywhere, actually i have a few different styles, but my sister loves these ones so when im bored at work, i scribble em out and sms pics of them to her, annoys her when its really dead at work XD

Oh you mean like realistic? its taken me months to try and draw realistic humans and I always need a referance pic of what im drawing
I tryed a few Chibis off the top of my head and it nearly killed me so I congratulat you with these

well, not neccesarily realistic, but i wanna draw the characters in the style they were intended, but be able to mix em up, i am getting better though, i wouldn't consider my alter ego baka to be chibi style, so i practise a lot with her.

Ahhh I think I understand you there im kind of trying to do the same thing (and I think we picked a very difficult path ) means we have to practis lots of styles but its great fun thoguh
keep practising! its what people have told me and it seames to work
hahahaha I can tell you have practised with the Chibis though

hahha yeah, the chibis are something i do all day long, only the ones my sisters says okay to make it to deviant, i can draw hundreds in a day, but colouring takes me a long time, i find it hard to stay in the lines, i've never had the steadiest hand, buti have looked at some of the artists i am watching, and you look at work they did not 6 months ago and think, that's worse than mine, but then the stuff they are doing now, i wouldn't think i could possibly draw that well, and you draw real people so well (which is an artform i suck hardcore at) and it really boils down to practising, so ive been using a lotta spare time (specially at work) to practise hard, and i am trying not to be too critical of my work.

Oh my I envy you! it takes me days to draw even a small picture I have to keep stoping and exsamining it (darn insecurity issues lol )

Keep all your work in order of how old it is and have a look back and youll see the same inprovement I bet and you dont need to be critical trust me your drawings are adorable

and yes latly ive been working really hard on hands (darn things lol) they drive me nuts

colouring takes me ages, but most the ones i do draw aren't great, only the best make it here (i was gonna finish more today but im sleepy after being out with my sister al day after rehab this morning T_T

I CANT DRAW HANDS, feet im actually not bas at, so why not hands, i wanna break everyones hands, so that it wont matter if their drawn funny anymire (im a villain)

Most of what I draw I leave out I have a whole pile of Fail that never get on here lol
aww well I hope you and your sister had a good time thoguh

dont brake my hands though I use to wont to draw everyone as artist dummy fave (Blank lol) but practis and I was finnaly able to do a face

I try not to hide hands as much now though I do have trouble making hands match? if there are 2 hands (witch some people seam to have just to give me more work lol) most of the time I draw them miss matching like 1 will be too big or a differant shape

ya me too, i am getting better, it annoys me how good i am at feet and then i can't do hands, like, how can i show off my feet skills? it would look weird having good feet and bad hands, gah - i suck

Thats the thing you can only get better wit practis and I use to be the same but with eyes I could draw eyes farly well but the rest of a face would look awfull
Oh have you tryed something like a cute hands held behind the back kindof pose?
