This is a little random piccie of Marina from the Little Mermaid(Ningyo Hime) movie of 1975.It was the first anime I had ever seen and I felt like drawing her.
The tail took some patience, but it was fun.

ive been craving this movie for the longest time. i have, sadly, lost my copy. v_v this was also my first anime; my mom bought it for me in preschool because i had been bugging her to see disneys mermaid. looking back, i believe this film is why i like males with some feminine qualities. (frame, longish hair, those EYES.) *thinks of marina/prince daydream scene* ...yeah.

The story is sad but so classy and BEAUTIFUL. Probably My favorite movie along with Disney's.
