Depict your Vesper learning a harsh lesson about the world around them, something that makes them realize that not all creatures are good.

A loss is a part of life but not all is meant to be lost at once.
Having finally thought he found a place to settle down Ilios had started to relax in his new surroundings. Big mistake.

One night he woke to the sound of screams and panic; rushing outside, he was greeted with the sight of his newfound happiness being burned to the ground by human's and vespers alike. the village was small and burned quickly - there were no survivors. What they wanted Eli would never know but as he turned back to look at what he thought would be his happy ending the grief and sadness of losing those he had come to love turned to anger and hatred. This was a lesson he would never be able to forget.

This is part of a little backstory idea I have going for my boy, this happened when he was younger and has shaped his personality of today.
this took around 3-4 hours this time.
I've only tried fire 1-2 times before this I had no idea what was going on half the time .O.
