Yeah, sometimes I give traditional painting a try too. I was planning to post this for a great while. This painting, acrylic paint on canvas, 80x60 cm (it's quite large) stands in my workroom since last summer, and I still can't decide if it's really finished. (or if I'm happy with it) Oh well, I thought you all might like a look at it too.Resubmitting 17-01-05:
Since I'm looking for deviations to make print-ready I came to scanning this painting in high resolution at my work to replace the crappy digital photo of the piece that stood here for almost a year. It looks far better now, the colors are more accurate, the details more defined and the contrast just simply far better.
I also took the liberty to take the black border and title out since I'm now of the opinion that it made my painting a bit tacky and presumptuous, so... enjoy of the new quality.

Wow. I may consider buying this. I like how well the colors fit together to show the chaos going on around that one particular building. It's like it has an evil aura that sucks you in, and wants you to be part of it.

This is very awesome. I'd love to see more of your traditional painting. There are so many comments, and I wouldn't want to repeat someone here, but the tower with the flame in the top reminds me of the eye of Sauron in the Lord of the Rings movies. I don't assume it to be a copy anyway, I am only pleasantly reminded. This painting doesn't lack anything, despite what some other commenters have said.

Normally, I dont care for images that are centered with their focus-- they tend to lose something along the way, interest wise. This, however, is so explosive and powerful, that I cant take my eyes from it. Very nicely done!

This is awesome!! The detail, and the eruption/fire-y thingy... just WOW. But what I like most is that it looks like a city only once you've looked at it. Like, when I first saw it, I was seeing some seriously crazy things (the eruption looks sorta like a pheonix with it's head ducked down towards the center tower). Very much like an acid trip... a super-cool, awesome acid trip!

I like the fire/black contrast, but other than that.. I kind of miss something in this. I don't know what it is, exactly. Some sense of life, depth, perhaps..

This is stunning beautiful. I love all the details on the architecture. the colors are really nice too, I like the fire-yellow/orange tones that contrasts with the green lights. (hehe,the green lights that's what make this piece really "sci-fi" i think 
I just wonder what's this big fire in the middle.... and the human silhouets on the right seems to wonder that too
