This is a commission from - thanks, jackyshow! He has more sophisticated, not trite taste, so he wants to take his time to introduce Sophie, before she gets messy in future strips.
Again, I know very little French, so I greatly appreciate him providing a script with translations:
D for Dorothée

A for Ariane
C for Corbier
J for Jacky
And S for Sophie

D : Bienvenue pour cette nouvelle saison du club dorothée (welcome for this new season of Club Dorothée)
J : Cette saison va contenir beaucoup de nouveautés (this season will contain more novelty)
A : Mais encore plus (and more!)

D : Nous aurons le plaisir d'avoir Sophie à nos côtés pour cette année (we'll have the pleasure to have Sophie at our side for this year)

C : Sophie Peux tu nous dire quelques mots sur toi? (Sophie, Can you tell us who you are in a few words?)

S : Hé bien, je suis ravie d'avoir été intégrée à l'équipe. C'est un rêve qui se concrétise, merci à tous! (Well, i'm very happy to have been integrated in the team. That's a dream come true Thanks everybody)

S : J'animerai une partie de l'émission qui s'appellera "Japan Show". J'irai m'intéresser aux derniers dessins animés, jeux vidéos et d'autres choses du pays du soleil levant (i will animate a part of the show that will be called "Japan Show". I will Investigate with the latest cartoons, videogames and other things from the rising sun land)

A : Et tu auras un jeu, rien que pour toi je crois? (and you're going to have a game only for you i believe?)
S : Oui tout à fait. ça s’appellera "les Malheurs de Sophie" (Absolutely, It will be called "Sophie's Misfortunes")

S : le principe est simple. Chaque 1er mercredi du mois, les copains pourront me faire tomber un malheur dessus s'ils sont assez nombreux à appeler. Mais j'espère que rien ne m'arrivera (It is simple. Every 1st wedneday of the month, the friends may send to me a misfortune if they are numerous to call. But I hope nothing would happen to me)
J : Il y aura un cadeau pour le dernier appelant. (there will be a present to the last call)
C : (happy) et ces jours là, nous on évitera les jeux! (and these days, WE are going to dodge the games (speaking of Jacky and him)
