Tricyrtis is rather easily amused, and kind of a moocher. Those are probably the two most noticeable things about him, actually.
He laughs at everything, and keeps ending up with other ponies' stuff. He doesn't seem to realize how irritating that can be.

Not really one to consider consequences, he's known to greatly inconvenience others in his pursuit of entertainment. However, if it
does eventually get through his head that he's bothering someone, he'll feel terrible and try to make it up to them. (Usually by
offering them a gift that wasn't rightfully his in the first place, but it's a start at least.)

He's a little tricky to get rid of once he's taken a liking to you, but if you can tolerate the constant "borrowing", he can be kind of
fun, and is actually surprisingly eager to make himself useful to friends. Boundries have never been his thing though, so even on
his best behaviour he might get in the way.

On the plus side, other ponies can do any of the same annoying things to him that he does, and he'll be completely fine with it.
If a guest were to show up unannounced, eat his food and leave with some of his CDs, he wouldn't see a problem. Most ponies
don't realize how easy it would be to reclaim their stuff from him, and it's never once occurred to him that they might want it back.
(On top of everything else, he has very selective hearing.)

In summary, it might be best to avoid him whenever possible.
