Another variant of the Swirl, wanted to get a rainbow effect but I'm not entirely satisfied with it, think I did too much blue and purple compared to red, orange, and yellow. Anyway wanted to see if you had any other opinions.Related to:

I think there should have been a bit more green and a bit less of the purple transitioning into the blue, but other than that, it's great!

Yes I know, it is way too much blue and purple as I screwed up during the planning (was thinking 12 shades of colour when it was 24...), but many have liked it like this so I've left it. Have you seen my swirl account by any chance?

i set up an account under "i-n-s-t-i-n-c-t" which will end up being a group of pictures that ive been doing with a friend of mine.. there isnt alot up there now but have a look... if you type in "love is pain" ours is the thrid picture.

I think it looks like it has too many blue mainly because you changed from red to purple very fast, still if you hadn't mentioned it I would had not noticed it xD looks really awesome and beutifull

Yes I know, half of it is blue and purple, while the rest is four other colours. The main mistake was that when I started it I picked the colours assuming I had 12 parts, but when I had come half-way I discovered that it was 16 parts. Doubt I'd bother re-doing the colouring on this one unless there'd be certain interest (as it is a lot of fiddeling with gradient settings for each part).

I think the reason the blue looks predominant is because there are several shades of it, whereas other colors that don't have a measure of blue in them are not so common. It's actually a beautiful piece of artwork!

If I re-do the colouring of this then I'll try to make the colours more even, it is still good if your favourite colour is blue or purple
