Been stuck on snow leopards lately, not entirely sure why..might just be the cool environments they live in and the fact that its hotter than heck where I am. Also I have an odd fascination with melanistic animals, particularly when it occurs in felines, ie black tigers/reverse tigers, panthers etc...so I thought..well chances are it could probably occur in snow leopards as well but since the odd pigmentation would be a detriment to the survival of the cub, it probably would not live to adulthood in the wild. But what's to stop my imagination? why not create a black snow leopard just for the fun of it?? So I decided I would, just to paint something for myself. He needs a name, I have been stuck On Zion, but that seems awkwardly cliche so I may change it.Here is the concept sketch. The actual painting is in the works as we speak and hopefully I will unveil it within the next few weeks

Nothing wrong with nudity. All mammals have reproductive bits. Nothing sexual about drawing them in a clean, tasteful way. It's unfortunate that people perceive it as such. Anyways, beautiful drawing! Awesome job on the muscle tone.

Mmmmmm...Awesome! He's so cool and cute..and sexy..and hot... and awesome... and wonderful...and...well, you get the point. I think Zion is a awesome name, but you're right it dose sound a little cliched. *thinks of something simalar but different* I can't think of anything better though, I always turn to my friend *minnesotawildgurl17 for names, because I'm no good at them. If you need help with naming a character just as her, she's good at it.

They are truly gorgeous animals -- and I like this one. The near shoulder especially, for no reason. And the tail.

HAHA I thought about putting a loin cloth or something but then I thought..animals don't cover up their..privets..and the fur provides warmth enough so why bother?? Besides I wanted to give him a natural look, like a wild animal in its element...which is more tricky to pull off with an anthromorph but I am up for the challenge!

well I guess I don't consider it adult work. I actually enjoy a lot of nude artistic photography..its gorgeous and not at all erotic or lewd. There is beauty in the nude form, be it human, animal or anthromorph. What I like about drawing simple nude anthros is the fact that there is so much erotic anthro art that really is..err..hmm less than tasteful to me and I want to bring back the simple beauty of a nude body without insuinuating anything sexual. Just an animal in its element.

really varies...sometimes I find it easier to sketch out my original idea in open canvas..because that way I can go through a variety of poses and be able to erase easily and not waste paper to get something close to what I envision. Then I print it and transfer it to bristol paper and fill in the details and usually the background or various other elements that were left out in the rough. But sometimes I just sit down and sketch XD!
