Originally I started this as a speedpainting last night. Started with a solid soft pink background and just started spattering around colors until a mountain range took form and it all went from there.I realize the composition isn't very dynamic, but then that is one thing I will be trying to better through my speedpaints.
I also know this isn't my typical subject but I hope that isn't a bad thing as I have so been enjoying these quick loose paintings. You know how sometimes you feel some part of your heart is locked away from your own eyes and once you discover it, you knew what you were missing all along? I think these series of paintings have given me that soothing sense of realization and elation.

Atmospheric pleisiosaurs! Such a new and unusual item to run across... this is why I don't delete deviations when the list gets ahead of me. A speed painting, and you've brought forth such a pretty, stunning vista. It would be something I think, to have ten minutes in your mind.

This is such a unique peice. The colors give it the fantasy world effect that people are looking for to escape reality, and Saturn and the stars add to it. This is very beautiful, and I did escape reality for a bit, nice work.

I love this so much!! The colors are amazing. It has such a surreal pastel sunset feel. I also really like that the creatures are like the lochness/water horse type creature rather than dragons or other things with wings. It adds to the surreal feeling. I also love the connection between the two creatures. Really nice work.

I like how you generally use paler colors, from what I've seen of your paintings. Just a suggestion, maybe a forest with your deer creature (Sorry! I forgot what you had called it...) I think that would make a nice piece ^^

How did you got your watermark so... smudgy painted? What filters did you use? I'm trying to get my watermark like that too, but it keeps being: 'sharp'
