Description
What do you see cheetah, there in the grasses? Do you think on what the night will bring? Or do you simply bid your final farewell to mother sun as she yawns and dips below the horizon?Can I come and sit beside you cheetah? I can hear the crickets chirping, serenading the moon, hoping perhaps sister will come out to play. I can smell acascia blooms far in the distant, faint but pure. The wind is cool but the earth still warm. How I want to sit beside you cheetah.

An old piece I started but never finished, I ripped off the bg today and put on a new one. I wanted something warm and welcoming. Its not much and my style for drawing toony felines has changed since, but I hated the time I did put into it to go wasted. So here is the final.

I'm always glad to do the close up views on your work. Even if I think I see it all clearly, I find I missed something. I hadn't noticed the triangle spots from the thumbnail, but they really are neat and provide the most interesting lines to follow.
Even for old style, this is pretty. The verse you wrote for it really carries well too.

This is the most beautiful work of art I have seen in a long time. When I zoomed in to see the details of the cheetah, I seemed to feel like I was right there in the wilderness with him. Thank you for taking me there.....................Wonderful, simply marvelous darling

Don't really care what he sees but what I see...and what everybody else sees. This is really stunning, the effects you have in there are...wow. The shading, the anatomy, expression....The triangles make a cartoony feel....but this is WAY better than Disney, mate. Wish I could draw like you.

Your artwork is always gorgeous... I mean simply beautiful. I love your anatomy skills and also all the detail you put into your drawings. I love the background and also the way you did the cheetah. I like how it is more bulky than slender like most cheetahs. Also your shading is just amazing and the scruffy-ish fur is cute. Also awesome job on the lighting... Love the sun going down theme, and how the cheetah seems to be on the alert.
