History:
- As with most Deku, Kapua originated from one of the many forests around Hyrule. When they were a young Deku, Kapua was inspired by the growing popularity of Business Scrubs and played merchant with their small gang of friends, sometimes making it a competition of who could scam the most visitors with commonly found items. As they got older, Kapua's mercantile skills didn't exactly improve with them over the years. Sometimes they were a little too aggressive or unpleasant to potential customers, were reclusive to give up items they perceived as being of real value, and wares were usually overpriced compared to other shops. Despite being unsuccessful, Kapua was determined to get their name out there and be renown across Hyrule, blaming their problems on the types of customers rather than admitting that it was their own fault for why business was unsuccessful. Some of Kapua's wares were collected from travelers lost in the Lost Woods, with assistance from two friends and scavengers named Ratree and Spomnak who were native to that area. Spomnak was also sometimes nicknamed 'Shoot' due to his long snout which allowed him to hit targets from a long distance with Deku nuts. which he took pride in practicing. It was also from Spomnak that Kapua learned some of their fierceness from since the beauty of the flower on Kapua's head usually dragged in a lot of unwanted attention. There were also times when Kapua would try to find somewhere to be alone and rest, only to have their flower plucked from a curious Kikwi or child, or falling victim to a Skull Kid's prank, leading Kapua to wanting to learn how to get back at them and teach others not to interrupt their 'beauty rest'. Another of Kapua's friends, Poppy, sometimes assists with appraising the 'junk' Kapua finds, though their relationship is usually full of playful insults. Kapua now travels Hyrule to make a quick rupee and some recognition along the way.

Extra Notes:

- During winter, their flower may close into a bud.
- Leaf dress isn't always worn, often used for special occasions. It grows in the Spring/Summer, and withers in Fall/Winter.
