those reflections in the bottom left look a lot like what I get when I leave my clear filter on and shoot into the sun, maybe your lens just has some reflections in it? what lens are you using?

Sigma 20mm. I think it was just a bit dirty, I had nearly dropped it off the canyon earlier that day but fortunately it hit a tree before going over the edge.

ah, the grand canyon. the first time I saw it I thought they were joking me. it looked like a painting, so i thought they'd just put an enormous canvas up. Next time I go there I'd like to hike down into it a ways.
