this is my baby rodrigo. he passed away last month. this drawing is more than i could ever ask for. it's beautiful. my parents adopted his mom. she is an american pit bull/amstaff mix. looks pretty pittish to us. he was the only brindle in the bunch. mom is actually a red nose. she is liver colored with pink nose and amber eyes. rodrigo was the most beautiful dog we've ever known. his fur was dark brown and black brindle. so shiny!! he was smiley and wonderful! and boy did he run! he was a small pit, about 55-60 pounds. but he was strong! and he ran faster than any of our other dogs. and he was the sweetest smartest dog. he was my cuddle-bug. i love him so much. and now i can see him forever in this drawing. he loved lying in the grass and playing ball. you can see how happy he was. thank you so much for this drawing.
and i have three pit/staffies, so i know what you are all saying about the pitbull thing. everyone is afraid because of the media. sad, since they are the best breed ever!

Oh so it is a staffordshire? Mine is very similar! My dog is an American Pit Bull terrier! They are very similar!!

yup they are very similiar.... come to think of it...u can tell by the shape of the head..American Pit Bulls look more like 'Titans' whereas Staffordshires are more like 'Gladiators'...if ya know wot i mean!!...

Yes they are very similar but they are very beautiful dogs and it angers me the reputation that they have! My Boris is so sweet and well behaved but that are still people afraid of him just because it is a pit bull.

Yet another instance where I thought I was looking at a photograph. Mind blowing work! You even got the shadow of the top part of the mouth on the bottom part. Amazing detail

One of my neighbours used to have a dog just like her. And oh boy she was a rare kind, she used to jump around all the time and at times I wondered if she had springs on her paws
