BUT I lack the patience to complete paintings and drawings. I start and just abandon them. I know it's a bad habit, I am trying to break. I am all about instant gratification, and photography does that for me.

I am ok, was a hard weekend, I spent it with the family, we don't all get along to peachy...A bit tired today, not sleeping to well lately, waking up tired because of dreams.. None that I can remember...mus not be important...

Sorry u don't get on with your family. I used to argue with my mum years ago, but now we never do, thank goodness. Families can be tough, especially parents who get old and then you realise that they aren't as perfect as they seemed when you were small

I am in therapy at the moment, have been since January. In December last year there was a robbery where I used to work, there is a lot about it in my earlier journals, and I had so much trouble with my workplace with them not really accepting that I wasn't taking it too well and pressing me to go to work and then pressing me to quit... So I started in therapy and when you do that a lot of other things come to the surface especially about family and when you grew up... But I am very glad that I am going to a therapist to deal with all these things... I think most people would benefit from going just to get all the stuff we gather through our lives, especially the start, sorted out...
I don't have the same problem sleeping as I used to. I used to not be able to go to sleep because of all sort of things going on in my head, just couldn’t' quiet the thoughts enough to sleep...

I've had therapy several times but now the UK health service is so crippled that I'm not entitled now, & it's very difficult where I live to see one, plus it costs a lot. I try pills

I agree, no such thing as sane only how much you have worked through or how much you are in denial...And yes artists are more sensitive and we become artists to deal with all the things going on inside, not the only reason but one off many...
I am very fortunate, my therapist is a friend of the family and she is giving me a heavy discount otherwise I couldn't afford it...
I don't like pills...they have a tendency to postpone the thing you to work through and then hit you like a sledgehammer when you try to deal with them...a pharmaceutical form of denial...
