**Giggles!**
While munching on a quick substitute for lunch on my busy day, my good friend and gal-pal, the marously talented ELL-T coined an interesting title for her recent posting ... here's the link:

And the funny happenstance was when I was moving here and there, getting things done for the Big Boss, he found my SCAD Senior Project Notebook laying out. Now, I'm a very open gal ... and there's no porn in there because I was told to pick stuff back in the days of the project to keep it clean. Ok, that was the rule and I was ok with it. He got a look and said that he was about to call a buddy of his who might still work for SCAD or was a SCAD grad and have this resubmitted for consideration. That he talked about when I finally got back with his truck. I could have fallen over dead from surprise! He had told me that I met this gentleman and his wife back in 2010 or so and we all had a conversation about how SCAD was back in the 1990s, which I believe was before he got there. Anyways, the Big Boss said that his friend was not only horrified by these stories, but had also heard the same thing from others on top of this being a good friend of the Big Boss. "I need to fix this," was what he had told my Boss. "She's not a vengeful gal these days. She's a lot happier and healthier and she's my valued employee!" I about started to cry! SCAD was not always the worst of times, but before I dropped out, it was bad. The Big Boss knew about my drinking and other problems because he, his wife, and I spoke about it in depth one night a while ago. He had never forgotten and neither did she!
Ok, the phone call was along the lines of the "AI Fad!" that this guy called it hitting the market to which this guy is old school when it comes to artwork. I believe he was a cartoonist himself and studied underneath the man, Charles Shultz, when he did a mail-correspondence thing years ago. "I get that it's something that makes the industry more productive, but there has to be a mind behind the program. That's why places like SCAD exist. We teach more than just what the students need, but we teach them the foundations." I was blown away when I was reminded of this today ... it was such a 180 degree turn from the thought that was back in 1990s. I'm glad to hear this.
I asked my boss to allow me to talk to this gentleman first before any decisions were made and he agreed. He knew this was a sore subject since there was so much baggage I was dealing with ... not to mention he knew about Kait and what she meant to me. And he's good with it. "Love is love," is all he said.
So, for my friend, I would like to add this. AIH ... Actual Intelligence and Heart! ❤️
For that, I felt the need to share with her and y'all too one of my favorite pieces that I think is new to Deviant Art: a concept piece from my Senior Project from 1997. Memory Awake's own Guy Vincent and T'Kay. The story is sort of along the lines of Rumiko Takashi's Urusei Yatsura, which I loved a lot ... and Kait was the one who showed off some fan-copies back from the 1980s that she got from her friend, Reiko. So, it all comes full circle. ❤️
