Ohmygawd!This so slipped past me! Either I missed a note or an e-mail or my my poor brain has melted further.
Anyways, part of the commissioning that I have done involves the fantastic and fast-working who has done my characters before:
and ... The "Stretching Things" versions of my OCs - The Innocent Ricochet Kaboom! and the Mighty PlastiCat!
She is working on ... I believe ... one other with Israfel in this outfit and Caitlynn in her chain mail bikini to help me really get into character better with doing "Skulls and Shackles" and also help inspire me to work on the stories revolving around these characters.

I had been debating on doing a story to go along with the picture ... a bunch of the ones that are coming up and going to be posted as time goes on. Sort of mixing things up with my passion for writing as well as art.

This is exceptionally close to what I envisioned her to look like, though I had debated on the cloak to possibly be more of a hoodie when she originally got it in the first adventure. It makes more sense to be a cloak (which is like an open hoodie so it works), y'know like what Sheila wore in the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. But instead of it making her invisible, it distorts her appearance to people in combat, making it harder to hit her.

Awww man, I loved the 80's cartoon, -especially- Sheila. I mean, her animation looks pretty close to what a human Israfel would look like...coincidence?

Interesting that you have made that connection ... and truth be told, when I was designing Israfel, I was actually looking at a picture of Rei from Evangelion. I choose the coppery hair since I wanted her to be a redhead, but not quite the intense red Caitlynn is. The Bionic Forearm mentioned that a few years back and I said that I did not think of that since it had been ages since I had seen the cartoon. I will admit to really liking Sheila from the cartoon though.

hehe, i think she was my first 'crush' on a cartoon or comic book character. when i got to be about age 10 i was able to read and understand the X-Men comics, and i fell for Kitty Pryde.

I can understand that. Kitty was an interesting character, one a lot of us grew up with and watch blossom into a superheroine, sort of like Spiderman did for a few people as well.
