Ohmygawd!After spending three days and redoing this drawing three times, I finally got into the groove and managed to get it done by this morning. There's still some work I want to do to it, but right now ... I'm exhausted. Two days of getting up at 2-3 am and getting to work around 5 am so I can work on this BEFORE the work for the firm starts. Ugh!

And the 'nice axe' comments continue... It reminds me of either something from Exalted, or Rock's axe in Soul Calibur. Either way, she's carrying on the fine tradition of 'chainmail bikini and ridiculously huge hand weapon' in style.

Soul Caliber is what I was thinking of when I originally did the design for the axe ages ago for the Storm Giant. Used to really do pretty good with him.

Definitely. Well, her and just about any Frank Frazetta character (though his fantasy heroines keep forgetting to buy the top half of the chainmail bikini... not that that's a problem!). Reminds me of a Drake Fenwick pic where the (very well endowed) heroine is lamenting the fact that she went to an armorer named Frazetta.

Side note ... I talked to a friend who runs and hosts a lot of the RPGs I get involved with and he's said that I still have a seat waiting for me. A nice thing to know. Right now, they are in the middle of Star Wars, which I'm not interested in. They are going to be doing some sort of Mechwarrior RPG soon ... I have my doubts. He said perhaps at the top of next year, they might get back to the superhero stuff.

It's a fighting game by Hudsonsoft originally for the Neo-Geo/SNK, like Galaxy Fight; apparently there was also a Japanese-only paper RPG that the game was based on.
That axe reminds me of the one carried by Tsunade in that game. Any influences?

Not that I can recall. Know you know how much I love "Galaxy Fight" and the character designs.
Tempest, the name of the weapon, has been used so many times in my RPs either by Caitlynn Wildfire in her many incarnations or by the Storm Giant, a reluctant hero who started out as a guy who was killed in a car crash and then brought back to life. In the latest incarnation of him, he looks sort of like Heat Guy J ... but bigger.
That looks like a super cool and really fun game!

Thanks so much! I started this over three times ... and on the third time, I was pissed. What happened was I was in too much of a hurry to get it done and too frustrated. So, after lunch and a good bit of "pity me for all the work that was wasted" party, I just decided to redo it. I also used each earlier piece to help push the work further so I knew what I had done wrong and what needed to be corrected.
Oh, there's still some things I would like to touch up and such, but most will be done during the coloring this morning.
