It means a lot that you think so, it's Probably because I gave this drawing a lot of love since
she is also one of my favourite characters, she has so much anguish and conflicting
emotions, perfect for drawing! Hard to convey in a portrait though....

i think with annie perhaps it's easiest that way since she conveys so much through her eyes which are best focused in portraits.

I made it so people could hopefully see the deep seeded sadness in her eyes accompanied by a hint of resentment but in an understated way,
I wasn't sure that I could pull it off but reading your comment, I think that I might have since you complimented the expression...
