I figure it kind of strange and confusing that the text is in english, but the attacks are in japanease.
The reply about the naruto thing is kinda irrelevent, cause they are speakin in japanese anyway.
SO i was kinda confused on what exactly they were doing and what the trainers are yelling. O.o
kinda throws the suspense of the action off a bit when your really into it.

You actually got a point there,never thought that way.OMG I feel so ashamed XD The attack names shouldn't really be considered define nouns...But I still want to stick to the original,since I don't like the idea of a term being replaced while dubbing. "Juuman Boruto",dubbed "Thundershock" translates as "10000 Volts",maybe I could use that?=/

oh god no. Dont do direct translations. That would make it even more confusing.
For instance. If you use the direct translation for 10000 volts. When someone uses the move THunder Bolt, Which everyone should know is stronger than thunder shock, the direct translation of that would make it even more confusing, cause the level of power between the moves would cause confusion.

:S anyhow, how come you use japanese names for the characters and moves? i'm confused a bit and while reading, it's a little tougher to remember the names =.=

Well,since Pokemon is originally an Anime,I think japanese names are better.I myself don't know all of the attacks and Pokemon names,but I think this is a good chance for me to learn them.No other anime has dubbed character names.
As for the moves,in nearly every manga I own,such attack names are kept the original and translation is given in a little box under the panel.Some translations don't even touch the japanese text for the attack.When someone says "kage bunshin" we remember Naruto,so why shouldn't "Juu-man Boruto" , "Hakai Kousen" or "Kaen Housha" make people think of Pokemon? XD Yeah,it's not so easy in a fandom where the main charakter is know as "Ash" more than his original name "Satoshi",but I still want to use japanese names and I like them better than the dub ones.
There are some english attack names even in the japanese version,like "Ea katta" which is "Air Cutter".For such names I'll use the direct english names.

wow. that's strange...at least in my opinion.
ok. i'll try to get over it. sometimes it's better to get the meaning through, rather than just knowing the names.
kage in japanese is shadow. bunshin is breaking bodies. although it's not as cool as using the japanese names, more people will know the meaning behind the words.
