For Drawtober today, I present you with a traditional drawing of Li-Chu I made on my sketchbook! HannBo. suggested I do something traditional since I wasn't really feelin' drawing on the computer after having done other things today--including other computer drawings--and though sometimes traditional art can really stress me out, I didn't try anything too special with this picture and I love drawing Li-Chu so much that I had a lot of fun this time! I don't know if that's the official look of his tattoo, but it's a thought~~ (And deeeefinitely not something I've thought of before, *cough cough* Jules Taylor. *cough cough* )
I'll totally take a better photo of this tomorrow with natural lighting and all that, but I got a new phone recently and it has a built-in scan function that's kind of blowing my mind. I know there're apps out there that let you scan photos of pictures and paper via your camera, but I've never been motivated enough to check 'em out and this one's just built-in to my camera!! It makes distortion from my photo soooo limited which is actually awesome because, while I was always mindful of that when it comes to photographing my traditional art, now I don't even have to think about it really??? The work is just already done! I hope it doesn't make stuff blurry in the process or anything else funky, but we'll see how good it works, tomorrow!
