Got inspired to use a flat painterly brush after watching some of 's streams.
I'm still having a lot of trouble with properly using pen tilt to control the direction of the brush, but I like how this turned out for the most part.

Hope you don't mind my asking but what brushes/settings are you using? The strokes look so crisp and painterly.

I'm using CLIP studio paint for most things now and this is the oil paint flat brush that it offers with the brush size control turned off and brush direction controlled by pen tilt.

Hmm thank you, I wonder if there's a version available for OS X. Always on the lookout for new painting programs to "test drive". ^_^;
