Description This is the Aurora Charm Anklet from the Northern Lights Collection!

-During a quest to the Land of Fire and Ice, held frigid in the throws of winter, and whilst travelling near a lonesome fjord, a prayer was sent to the Norse goddess of love, Freyja, in the hopes that she would grant the traveler to witness the Aurora Borealis. A piece of sacred heart was also sent to the goddess. Freyja smiled gently at the gift, and later that night, she opened the sky into shimmering rivers of green. The prayer had been answered.

This story is the main inspiration for the Northern Lights Collection of jewelry created by Iridesce Copernicus. This line is made in the spirit of the Aurora, constellations, the element air, the night sky, and the Norse Pantheon.

-Only piece of its kind, The Aurora Charm Anklet features a recycled, antique bead charm emanating the Aurora on an organic hemp choker with more Aurora bands weaving throughout, with iridescent beads. approx 11 1/2" long, adjusts to 12 1/2", more likely to fit as an anklet, but may work as a small choker.

This item is for sale at our Blogspot. Thanks for checking it out!

I actually really enjoy this piece, granted for the center I probably would have picked a different bead it still works together nicely.
Great job.

Thanks for another lovely compliment! Yeah I need to get more stuff up. Having no internet is a real pain!
I know whatcha mean, how there can be commonalities in work but it's still obvious that it's someone else's work. Yet, both have a similar soul to them!
You basically described how I feel about textiles from natural fibers, how someone can use something as simple as plant and animals fibers to craft the most beautiful things, and pass that knowledge, artistry, and culture along to the next generation.

Such a different style in such a compatible way. Even looking at a single work, it's easy to realize it's an interely different hand.
It's clear the love for the raw nature and and a quality of beauty that is simple only in appareance.
It's like ancient knowledge at work through skillful finger that can craft refined work with unrefined materials with an earth soul. It's nice to see finally a work from the other side of Balthasar.

hehe no internet at home gets old, hah, it takes forever to post stuff since the library is 20 minutes away. Ack!

I hope you get to see the Aurora sometime! There aren't any true words to describe it, it's definitely a sight to behold, they look like glowing roadways in the heavens that are on the move. It's wild!

Oh yeah must be yucky! I had to deal with no internet or super slow dial-up for years. Now that we have highspeed it is so amazing.

I hope I get to too! But I am young yet so I am sure I will get the chance

ooooo dialup is the worst! I think I'd prefer no internet to dialup! agghh! Highspeed is the best.

Ye shall get the chance! There are alot of places to see them too, albeit cold as crap places, though the lights make it bearable! ~Iri

Dial-up is the worst, can barely upload anything! I would have to agree with that sentiment.

I live in Michigan currently so...cold as crap places don't bother me as much as hot as heck places.

Agree! Atleast you can bundle up! Going swimming once in a while is great. But I could do without the stickiness and mosquitos, sheesh. Forget that ! +D

I see, Iridesce! Kyla's working mate! Pleased to meet you
I instantly noticed the difference in style. Kyla's works look a lot more emotional, spiritually charged, and intricate; this one is more exotic, has a simpler style, and an Indian feeling. Kyla's works evoke powerful feelings; these ones are colourful images of good old myths and legends. I like them both - and I'm surprised you can work together with such different styles; you two must be very close to each other.

Hi there! Nice to meet you and thank you for your comments! This is just a small representation of work thus far, its unfortunately kinda hard to capture emotion and spirit with hemp, but I try my best. =/ Though other pieces have different feelings to them.
