Your style is very much reminiscent of Todd Hamilton's... He did the illustrations for The Dragonlover's Guide to Pern, for anyone who doesn't know... Have you ever seen his work, Balthazar?
I love the shadowing, and the angle of the head. You have a real skill with capturing musculature without over-emphasising it, and the sheen of the eye is very realistic!
