Hell yeah!! My character is the kenku, Hercule! But he recently took a sabbatical back to his temple (paladin) so I'm playing a barbarian lizardfolk in his stead lmao. Dragonborn are rad tho!! It was a toss-up between lizardfolk and dragonborn for my barbarian.

sweet! we have a kenku in my party as well. soon were also going to have a harpy! (my party breaks a lot of rules so we have a pretty wacky set of characters and pets) im not sure on everybody's race but i do know we have (at least) 2 dragonborn ( a red and a blue. im the blue), a tiefling, and a kenku. we just started so i cant remember them all off the top of my head but yea.

Oh rad!! A harpy will be sick. My DM is also super lenient when it comes to player races (and overall rules) and I think it makes the game much more fun and free 👌

oh definitely! our dm sometimes lets us have hostile monsters as pets. my friened who is going to play the harpy after killing of their tiefling has a grick named Benny. they got it after they rolled a nat 20 for animal handling. i have a wyvern as a pet. long story short i got a dove as a pet, we had an encounter with 2 wyverns and halfway through the battle my dove (who we named Doug) got eaten by one. then Doug took over the body of the wyvern and now i have a wyvern with the brain of a pigeon as a pet.  its pretty great having a pet with 110 hp who is able to fly. (it wasn't really supposed to happen but i got ahead of myself and asked if that's what was going on and they decided that would be funny so they went with it) our dm is pretty chill about anything. there is definitely a lot of yelling at our sessions though
