Beautiful scenery, allthough I find the colour a bit eerie, like something out of a ghost movie! Great shot. How long did the fog last?

Thank you. It was early morning mist and only lasted for an hour or so...maybe even less.

My pleasure. Ah, one of those rare moments. I've been out when it was foggy almost half a day and everything was covered in snow. That was a long time ago though, I'll see if I can find the pictures. Now I have a crappy camera, so I feel it's a waste of time to even try to take good pictures.

Thank you so much for sharing this photograph. The composition is superb and the lighting is excellent. Those more clearly defined foreground trees lead your eye beautifully into the shot. The trees almost look like an advancing army waiting for the call to arms. I really like the way you have cropped the shot so that all your attention is drawn to that wonderful formation. The shot also has a mystical type quality and you could imagine small wood nymphs could appear at any time.

Thank you for the wonderful comment. This is a grove of mostly oak trees in one of our local parks and on foggy mornings it's a great place to be with a camera.
