So this is the first page of a Inuyasha fanfic my step sister and I are working on.

The girl you see speaking with Sesshoumaru is Sakuya. Sakuya is originally from Romania. Rumors of a terrible demon (Naraku) had spread to Sakuya's homeland. Like Sango, Sakuya's people were known as prized demon hunters ( The actual story hints that she might be a gypsy). Sakuya, being the best and most successful demon huntress from her native land, set out to find Naraku. She succeeded- however, was met with a terrible curse. Earlier Naraku had sought to absorb Sesshoumaru's powers. But another attempt by Naraku proved still unsuccessful- however the demon made off with a lock of Sesshoumaru's hair. He used this to infuse Sakuya with Sesshoumaru's demonic essense in order to absorb Sesshoumaru's powers. However, Sakuya realized the trap, and threw herself over a cliff and into a river before Naraku could complete his plan. Later, Sakuya is found by Rin, who somehow manages to convince Sesshoumaru not to kill Sakuya for the insult-(that she didn't commint). Rather, Sesshoumaru seeks to make Sakuya a proper demon-in his justification, so that she won't make him look bad, since the two are nearly identical twins.

In this panel, Sesshy is asking Sakuya if she would become human again if given have the chance. Earlier, Sesshy's own fiancee had taken Sakuya to visit Kaede, who warned Sakuya that if she ever gave in to her demon side, she would be trapped that way forever, and would have no way to free herself from the curse. Here and in the next several pages, we see Sakuya pondering this warning.
