here it is!!!
After a century of slumber, the white doll re emerges from its cocoon. On the process acquiring some parts from its brother unit turn X. The white doll has been reborn!!
Not much is known from the white doll. Except that it was granted the ability to assimilate any weapons. As seen when it touched a rifle, nanomachines began modifying it to match it's performance with the suit. Plus, pushing the weapon way past to its limit. Like how it modified a normal rifle to have an output of a colony laser.
Now evolved to a more terrifying interstellar war machine, added with a degree of sentience, the white doll pays humanity a "visit".

my original idea for it was some evil guy in reiji's world began using the power of plavsky to wreck havoc in the real world.
reiji teams up with sei.
due to abnormalities of the plavsky, the gunplas sei and the others were using were re scaled to 1/1 *lel*

actually I honestly don't think that even quanta can wipe out a whole civilization of a whole planet in an instant
turn A did it with just a mere 15 percent of it's output. (considering the ratio between the volume of the earth 1,097,509,500,000,000,000,000 cubic meter to the distance between earth and jupiter which is 588 million kms once it is in fully awakened mode)

I find that scene with turn A as an insult. A demolition job against any related tomino works or UC. Whether intentional or not, it stained the image of that gundam to newcomers. Making it difficult for them to take the show(turn A) seriously or even touch it.
It started good then began to devolves too a more bland, cliched and a show that over glorifies AUs. Particularly 00. While making suits from UC and other timelines as inferior which is bullshit.
This is not that the kind of show which is supposed to be a "love letter" to all gundam fans.
The sd fight was nothing compared to the renato brother vs meijin fight in season 1. The tryon 3 should have won if it wasn't for the plot armor.(Although less bullshit compared to the burning vs denial or gunpla academy vs crossbone)
All those what you call "good points" are overshadowed by the bad. Rehashed ideas, deus ex machina, plot armor and that one scene where they showcased boxing(destiny and denial). As a practitioner of the sport myself, I found that as an insult proving that the writer knows shit about the sport. I'm damn sure any decent counter puncher will murder any jigen hao practioner.

The first season was perfect with cameos everywhere and reasonable suits (with the first animated appearance of the RX-78 Full armor Gundam), but try didn't try to live up to GBF's potentional.
I just wished season 2 reunited Sei and Reiji to forfill the promise. But I guess that will only happen in fanfics...

so in short, the staff got drunk on themselves because of the "success" of season one. I'm not sure about the suits since most of it are just from mainstream gundam titles.
Honestly, at this point reco tramples try in terms of creativity on designing suits.

season one was good. Not perfect. I despised the idea of using a seed suit as a main one. It's almost as guilty as try on over glorifying AU suits while making the ones from UC inferior. I still hated the idea that meijin switched from stylish zeon suits to a fucking exia.

There were powerful modified UC suits, Gundam X Maoh, Gouf R-35, Bearguuy ETC...
At least the SD's weren't shitty. (cough like every other SD series cough)
What I'm trying to say is that if taken more time and more UC suits, it could have been better.

it really doesn't matter when you have main suit from seed, wing and 00. Bearguy was for comedic relief. Gouf doesn't even have the chance to shine if it wasn't for the last episode. Most of the time, ral was not being treated seriously. I despised plebs who goes on "DUH!! I can't take ral seriously now!!" when watching origins. It ruined his image tbh.
Although I agree with your last sentence. Other than that, I suggest that you should stop defending the show.

turn A was my favorite outside UC. Only to be tied with reco and X.
in all gundam, my top spot will always go to war in the pocket. The perfect slap for those who fantasizes riding this huge mechanical monsters. Or shooting an unnamed grunt with the gundam was always cool

a name for this gundam, personally, would be Darkforce Turn A Gundam. love the artwork though man, im a huge fan of the gundam series and I do wish I could have gotten into it from the beginning but im learning the story lines slowly
